Question: Mother had a new baby 3 weeks ago. Mother is 13 yrs old. HER
mother insisted that before she leave the hopspital, she receive a DEPO
PROVERA injection. Mother of baby now is experiencing fussy baby, slow
gaining baby. Sister of baby's mother is a LLL Leader, and wonders if the
DEPO could be causing low supply.

I have had one previous case of low supply in response to DEPO shot. Please
advise..
