Dear fellow breastfeeding enthusiasts-
I am relatively new to lactnet and enjoy your comaraderie through your
words and thoughts everyday. Thanks for being there! I am an IBCLC and
work with the breastfeeding promotion coordinator for the Washington
state WIC program. I never knew 18 years ago when I became a La Leche
League leader that my passion for breastfeeding would lead to this.
Isn't life amazing? I also raise llamas and am one of the only people in
the industry to promote cria (baby llama) led weaning. Boy, when I
believe in something I really push it to the limits.
I'm hoping someone will be able to help me find some breastfeeding
promotion and/or "how to" information for Vietnamese and Russian women.
These populations are growing rapidly in Washington state and we'd like
to provide them with materials without having to re-create the wheel.
Anybody have any pamphlets, videos, etc.,they could share or know of a
source for them? My personal E-mail address follows. Thanks.
