Hi all
Well I guess it is time to say a few things: 1) I am sorry about mentioning
money on Lactnet. I got my hand slapped. I was so excited to tell you about
our pamphlets for the medical professionals. We really do not charge for them.
When I was typing, I had an awful thought of the health department getting all
of these requests and yelling at me about the printing and postage. Please
consider it a donation and not a price.
2) The whole large weight gain discussion goes into the whole weight chart
discussion. I had 2 boys born at 7# some oz. They tripled their birth weight
in no time, going from about the 60% to the 100% on the chart. I thought you
had to double the age to get the size clothes. I have one son at 6 feet 2
inches and one son at 6 feet 6 inches. On the other hand I had 2 girls born at
9#. They slowly went down the chart (especially the last one.) One is average
weight and 5 feet 4 inches and the other is average weight and 5 feet.
3) Saving computer space I found that I can take the digests off line to the
in basket. Then off line I save each digest to a disk. I can then read them at
work, at home on my husband's lap top, or my son's computer. I can push edit
cut and paste to the files on the disk that I have named by subject. My hope
(ha!ha!) is that I will have some time to move the subjects around so all one
topic is on one disk. Right now I have 2 disks almost full and I have some
allergy things on both disks. Do any of you have other ideas?
