We ask mother if she recieved anything in labor to help her with pain or make
her labor stronger. Also we follow up by asking the question "Did the (pain
med epidural etc ) help? You'd be surprized at the responses we get. Most of
them say pain meds made it worse and many have told us that the epidural took
effect after the baby was born. Also a lot of moms complain about back pain
following an epidural. Amazing what you find out if you ask.
