Lisa, your story about the breast pump reminded me of a similar one...

My son (then 10, I think) had his 12yr old buddy over and his buddy asked Dan if
he had a hamster. Dan launched into a discourse of what pets we currently had
(none), what we had that was now living with his grandparents (one), what we had
that had run away never to be heard from again (one) and what we would not allow
him to have (too many to count, but definitely including hamsters). His friend
just pointed at a double breast pump kit lying around and said he figured that
was one of those exercise tubes for hamsters. The subject got changed REAL quick
when Dan explained non-chalantly that it was just his mom's breast pump
stuff....

Maybe there is a market out there for used breast pump kit parts. If I ever have
any time away from this computer and dig out from under the mounds of paper it
is generating, I'll have to talk to our local pet supply store and see what they
think.........

Oh, one more. Last fall, as part of an elaborate going away joke before my move
from Atlanta GA to western Tennessee, a good friend gave me a copy of one of
those charming tabloid newspapers with all the breaking headlines. In a section
of world news, there was the folowing article:

Does the Cow Like It?

Flawil, Switzerland--A machine that milks a cow by attaching to its udders then
moving the cow's body up and down is drawing mixed reviews with farmers here.

"My cows are giving a lot more milk with this machine," Kurt Borer said. "I
think it's because they enjoy being moved up and down, rather than pulled and
tugged on."

But other farmers say their cows stopped giving milk altogether after riding the
device.

What do you think? Maybe this idea could revolutionize the breast pump
industry??

Ok, I promise. No more silly stories, at least not tonight!
