Hello Lactnetters,
If any of you have lived through a period with your babies with EXTREME
separation anxiety, I need your help. My daughter just turned 1 today. This
past week, in dad's care, she screamed when I was away 5 hrs. Since that
day I cannot put her down. Not that I want to, but I do have to go to the
bathroom sometimes! Now hubby and everyone else think I should wean.
I am of course trying to be with her as much as I can. How do I get her
secure again? What will I do when I have to work again (teach a Bf class)?
How do I help the 6 yr old who feels neglected? How do I get hubby and
others back in my corner?
I was so looking forward to the joys of toddler nursing, and now do I have to
go into the closet already? I did not want to put this on Lactnet, as it is
a personal problem, and I should know how to handle it, but I hope ya'll will
not mind and will send some help my way. Please e-mail privately.
