Hello all -- Can you believe this?? The hospital I work in has a monthly
update for bulletin boards on the mother-baby unit and the staff take turns
posting cute mother/baby pictures/ideas, etc on them. My partner and I (the
LC's) asked to put up ideas for August as World BF month. I was told that it
might offend people who *can't* or don't choose to BF or make those who did
not succeed at BF feel guilty. My partner was told that we could post on the
*staff* bulletin board (inside the locker room) only!!!! It gets so
frustrating at times (but then, two years ago, there were NO LC's on staff,
right?! Just venting.
