I had a patient in the hospital tell me "This is just like going to my
first dance in junior high!  I don't know where to put my hands and I feel
so awkward!"

I have been using that as an example of how we transition from awkward to
comfortable with practice (luckily, I got the knack of breastfeeding more
quickly than the knack of dancing!)
