Hi All,
I would like to ask a question that many may find simple, but to those of us
with no medical training may be very helpful.  What does NPO mean?  I
sometimes get frustrated trying to figure out the medical acronyms and very
rarely do I succeed.  While I find the information fascinating and
tantilizing, it is sometimes frustrating to not get the full meaning of the
info because of my lack of medical terminology.
So, please everyone, keep on with the technical stuff, just give those of us
who are not medically informed a hint now and then!  :)
