Hello to All! Per Kathleen Auerbach=92s request, I am introducing myself. =
I
have been monitoring Lactnet for about a week now and I love it! I have
really been enjoying listening to all the wise women on the =91net.
I am former control systems engineer with a LLL background although I am now
on Leader Reserve. Currently, I am an IBCLC with a private practice in my
own retail establishment. We cater to nursing mom.by carrying a lot of
nursing clothes as well as pumps, bras, milk carriers, etc., etc. Basically
anything a mom doesn=92t NEED to breastfeed, but may want. It is really fun
working with all of the new moms. I do try to make a positive impression on
the new moms by encouraging employees to bring their babies to work and
having all of the nursing clothes made by moms in home based businesses.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so the ILCA conference is in my back yard. Just
so you can be prepared I=92ll let you know it is 109=B0F (43=B0C) now. It=
is a
dry heat but, that really doesn=92t make much of a difference over 110=B0F! =
It
does cool off at night though, so be sure to bring a sweater. In July it
will get down to at least 90=B0F (32=B0C) at night.
