Though now working with a very high population of eldely diabetics that are
getting this med I know nothing of it's relationship to breastfeeding it has
been a widely used drug in mexico and canada maybe research in these other
countrys could be found.

BTW I've seen wonderful results with this medication in people that have
needed insulin in fairly high doses30-40 units bid and have been weaned off
insulin onto metformina - glucophage.  Working on the USA side of the border
of mexico has alloowed me to see this in action for awhile. Hope this isn't
to far off the path.

 (Do I use nursing because I'm a nurse?) Sometimes I think alittle breastmilk
would help my patients.  I'ts amazing how you can ramble at 11pm.  OK good
