I'm sure someone else (i.e. a health care worker) is interpreting the
guidelines to mean wean at 4 - 6 mos.  The mother most likely would not know
about WHO guidelines, but got the info from a health care provider.  This is
what I would speculate anyway.  We need to emphasize the longer term aspects
of the recommendation too.
