It has been interesting to follow the REGLAN discussion on the LACTNET.
Last year I attended an HEA conference and Karin Caldwell PhD discussed
the side effects of reglan.  SHe mentioned the very real side effect of
tardivdyskenesia (jerking motions) that can be irreversible in the
mother.From following the discussion, I was surprised  at its use, as I
left that conference with a new respect for the drug and an incentive to
search other means of increasing milk supply.  One example was an article
from FEHER from PEDS Jan 1989, with guided imagery and progressive
relaxation a contol group pumped 55.4 oz, the imagery group pumped 90.1 oz.
