We are currently hosting several physicians from various parts of China for
a few weeks. They are interested in breastfeeding and have asked some
questions too technical for me. They say many people in China are carriers
of hepatitis B and this leads many doctors to be doubtful that it is a good
thing for women to breast feed! They also wonder if hepatitis A can be
transferred through breast milk and even asked about TB. Grateful for any
information I get on this!
