To Cynthia and others attending, or spouse attending, the LLLI Physician's
Seminar---Please let me know inpressions.  Last year I encouraged our
neonatologist who is also the medical director for the lactation center to
attend the Physician's Seminar.  He went with tons of enthusiasm and came
home irritated.  He said it was the worse thing he had ever gone too. Said
every tale regarding LLL was more than true.  The result is that I have to
use extreme caution with any LLL connection.  It was a disaster.  I have
since encouraged him to attend our ILCA conference and assured him that it
was good and professional and that physicians attended as well as IBCLCs.  He
has joined the ABM and I hope that that association will help him get over
his newly acquired distaste for LLLI and anything associated with it by
redirecting his attention to that group and to ILCA.  While he is not
attending ILCA conference this summer, I hope that he will another year.
