Anne,
Excellent article.  The only thing I would change is to eliminate "extremely"
from the sore nipples red flag.  I have seen moms with the tips of their
nipples chewed away (actually, tongued away) who thought nipple soreness was
normal.  This is my pet peeve, I don't think breastfeeding should hurt.
Period.  I know some perinatal nurses swear that some nipple soreness is
normal, but what is normal about American hospital births?  (Should I duck
now?)
