Re nipple damage to nipples:

 1. I do believe that it is possible to have nerve damage from nipple
trauma.

I believe that with anti inflamatory and correction of cause the damage
will heal...

I do not believe that this will occur from pumping PROVIDING that the
mother is using an internmittent pump of hospital grade or step down
PROPERLY.

this is my expereice from my practice.

2. I have not ead of any connection between fibrocycstic and increased
plugging...let us knowwhat you find.

Her period can cause changes although someone else will better explaing
the hormonal causes. This too can contribute to baby's changing bf patterns.
