I have been using Ruth Lawrence's book Breastfeeding Guide for the Medical
Profession as a terrific reference. I have the 1989 version, and have only
recently realised that there is a 1994 new edition (must have been asleep
when the news came out). I haven't been able to
see a copy (not the sort of thing that is in bookshops here!), and would
like to know how different this edition is. Are the changes significant, and
would it be worth me updating, or can I get along with my 1989 one until the
next edition comes out? I'd appreciate any opinions. There may not be that
many textbooks on breastfeeding around, but at least the ones we have are
of an excellent standard. Without my Lawrence, Auerbach & Riordan etc I'd
be lost! :)
