will help you become accustomed to using the listserv system. Also, please
remember that if you are going to be away for any length of time, not
receiving mail, you should Set yourself NOMAIL. Otherwise, you will either
have a mailbox full and a warning from your own system, OR you may be
automatically unsubscribed from Lactnet by the Ummed computer, which does
these things on its own. : )

If you do get deleted from the list due to system problems, please know that
it is probably a problem at YOUR site, and that as soon as your mail is up
and running, you are encouraged to just resubscribe yourself to Lactnet!
Sometimes, if a site is not functioning well, say an AOL address, it will
begin to generate many errors. We may set you DIGEST or NOMAIL in order to
reduce errors coming to us until the problem at your end is fixed.
