The soaps (often sponsored by formula commercials) are at it again.
One has recently had a character stop BFing because she did not have
enough milk on the 2-3 post partum day. MD told her she wasn't producing
enough. It would be in the interest of the baby if she put the baby on
formula.
The soap is As the World Turns...on CBS.
By contrast, in South America, breastfeeding has been supported
by actresses positively portraying breastfeeding on TV and on the
radio (ILCA conference 1992 and UNICEF video).  Responses are in order
to producers, don't you think?
