I has a call this week from a mother who is suffering with a prolapsed
bladder. This is her third child, second prolapse. The prolapse resolved last
time. She was told that she should not breastfeed. She weaned last time and
prolapse resolved in about two weeks...she was told notto bf thhis time and
chose to ignore. Now at almost two weeks postpartum she is beingtold she must
wean. Reason given is that the blood and homrone flow is divererted from
pelvic area....

This is most definately an area with which I have no experience and
limited knowledge I would appreciate any imput and information from members
of LACNET..l have called on a local gyn/urologist, spoken with Linda Friedman
at Rochester...No one I speak to can shed light on the above logic...

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

                       thank you in advance, patricia
