On the tylenol issue in regular use over a long period of time i would be
more concerned with later liver complications because in od situations the
tylenol break down products are liver toxic. whats even scarier is that it
may take a number of days for the toxic effects to peak.

side line same subject: I have seen a number of moms who routinely give
tylenol drops on a daily basis for very long periods of time (scares the
begeebers out of me.) Not just for the occational teething pain. One father
who was thinking about trying to get full custody of his 9 month old son,
stated that the baby's mom had been giving this infant tylenol multiple times
daily since he was 3 weeks old (she states that the only time the baby is
content is when taking the med (could this baby be habituated to tylenol??? I
think it is possible just like people get rebound headaches after stopping
taking certain meds.) Lawyer is suppose to contact me soon. Since this type
of toxcicity may be cumulative over ones lifetime, what might we be setting
these kid up for. I always advise: Use the minimal amount for the shortest
period needed.

sorry I got off the subject. Got a problem, take a drug, make the pain go
away, the cure to all that ails ya in the bottle. Thats one of my soapboxes.
