The type of service discounted may be the issue here.
A professional service such as a BF consultation, a
medical treatment (gyn exam), in my opinin should not
discounted...that requires study and experience and is
valuable. The rental of a piece of equipment is different
and can be bartered, reduced in cost, etc. I don't know
many physicians who rent or sell anything...many are generous
with samples...but that brings us back to freebies! Over
the t years I'vbe received vitamins, neck brace, cough
syrup and a couple of free visits when I made the diagnosis!
On the other hand, Many currently BFing and pumping MD's are
sending their friends and I find that works out well.
