Triamcinolone is just another steroid, with a somewhat longer half-life and
somewhat greater potency than prednisone. Again, as with all inhaled
steroids, the plasma levels are generally so low that they are
undetectible. I simply can't believe that the microgram dosages used via an
inhaler would provide enough absorption in a breastfeeding infant to produce
a problem. I reviewed R.Lawrence's comment, and I believe she is
probably talking about larger doseages of oral triamcinolone, since the
titles of her references did not even mention breastfeeding, or milk.
