I disgree. To me the burden of proof rests on anyone who wants to believe any claim whatsoever and sometimes the more 'proof' offered, the more careful we should be. Absolute proof is very elusive.
Putting that burden on someone else is giving up personal responsibility for your thoughts, and we have seen a lot of damage done latel;y by people believing things that turned out not to be true and for which a little digging would have given forewarning.
Nope. I say, "Caveat emptor".
