11 answers. Thank you very much.

AFB still exists. That means still exist the suscetible honeybee too.

What is wrong?

In the Czech Republic, we have a mandatory program of handing over winter samples from the bottoms of beehives. It is about measuring AFB germs from what falls. There is a large concentration below. This is logical. This is how technically suscetible and nonsuscetible colonies can be distinguished. One sample is from a maximum of 25 colonies. Monitoring is paid for by the South Moravian region, eradication carried out by an inspector, and paid by the Czech government. They say we have highly sensitive analyzers and a really tiny amount is enough, the result goes into 5 categories according to quantitative occurrence. From sublimit to overlimit - clinical.

But there is a problem, what a person does not see, he often does not take into account. Therefore, the procedure of radical eradication was chosen. Because it is expensive to have AFB agents in any form on state territory.

As far as I know, it is inadmissible to have the causative AFB in honey, it is the last global stage of the disease. It's an uncontrollable state that only suits businessmen.

Therefore, eradication is done completely and with great success. The results of the recovery are still there and if the work is done well, AFB will no longer appear in the mandatory monitoring (above) at regular intervals.

If not and the concentration exceeds the limit, the veterinary inspector intervenes again with even greater and more widespread eradication and unregistered beekeepers and places are tracked down. According to the mandatory area collection of samples from the bottoms of the hive.

Of course, movement bans are announced, or export of bee colonies from AFB territory. He can drive in. But not out.

Applies: Above-limit laboratory result = clinical occurrence. Even if someone does not hand in the samples, there is a neighbor to whom the AFB will show up at the bottom of the hive. Bees emigrate.

Tracing it and eradication again. This is what quality work looks like.

After the enormous infection pressure from imported cheap honey, when together with AFB, antibiotic residues were also present in the honey, this method is still the most effective and cheap.

Quite a lot of beekeepers were convinced by the list, the price list of the values of beekeeping inventory thrown into the fire and reimbursed by the state. AFB must have a source of money from the state as compensation. Otherwise, the beekeepers hide because they have money in it. And they make up stories about the invisible AFB that it is a disease like the common cold. There are even cases where they thought that by borrowing infected bee work they would make their bees healthier.

Do you see the danger in freedom and freethinking?

The plan must be to logically reduce infection pressure, not to think that a pure bee race is the future. Only anyone can think that. But not an expert and a professional.
