If I understand those pie charts the least infected hives had a death rate of 16% while the most infected had a death rate of 18%. Level 2 infection had a death rate of 24% while level 1 infection had a death rate of 21%. If I understand correctly those numbers tell me nothing about the infection being lethal as those differences are too small to tell me anything regardless of statistical analysis. Some measure besides colony death might, or might not, tell you a lot more about the infection being harmful but perhaps not generally lethal. Some harmful but not lethal consequence might be worse to the apiary performance than the raw number killed if it cost you the spring honey crop due to slow population build up.
