Very frustrating.

I had a similar event when the teenage boys referred to me by the juvenile
judge as "needing a job" got a little too popular at school, wearing my
tee-shirts emblazoned "Death Wish Beekeeping", and driving company-issue
Volvo 240 wagons to school after doing pre-school dawn patrol work.
Suddenly, former social outcasts enjoyed privilege, style, and even a cachet
of danger.

The vandals were a few members of the high school football team, their truck
photographed by a trail cam, no question.

The cost of a few hives was worth the boys' realization that they (the kids
with the tattoos and skateboards who smelled vaguely of pine-needle smoke)
had made the jocks that jealous.
