We have discussed the perils of trying to use the ChatGPT to obtain useful results. One last example, these are things that the bot attributed to me when asked for a biography:
> is an American author, beekeeper, and blogger known for his work on beekeeping and bee health. He has written several books on the subject of bees, including "Beekeeping Essentials," "Bee Time: Lessons from the Hive," and "The Beekeeper's Handbook."
* I don't know if Bee-L is a blog. If so, that is the only thing true there.
> has been a beekeeper for more than 30 years and has worked as a research technician at Cornell University's Dyce Laboratory for Honey Bee Studies. He has also served as the apiarist at the Culinary Institute of America's farm in Hyde Park, New York.
* First part, true. Second part: Is there an apiary in Hyde Park? I don't recall ever going there. Maybe that was Jim.
> is a frequent contributor to beekeeping publications, including the American Bee Journal and Bee Culture. He is also a co-founder and former editor-in-chief of Bee Culture's sister publication, Beekeeping Basics.
First part, true. Second part: I am not sure who founded it, but it wasn't me and I was never editor-in-chief of anything.
> In addition to his work in beekeeping, is also an accomplished musician and has written and performed music for theater productions.
This is my favorite! I always fantasized about writing and performing in a rock opera based on Puccini's "La Bohème." How did they know that?
