Well, I think the AI quote I posted dealt with the question of bias fairly well.

And, when I remark on bias, I am talking about bias far beyond what we expect if we are not paying attention mand trust the results to be an even-handed  report on we are actually seeking.

Everything is necessarily biased, but Google, being a public utility in effect is expected by some, at least, not to show favoritism.  

As it is, Google filters many different ways and is not like the webcrawlers of old that just showed everything.   What Google shows you is not what Google shows me, especially if I move location or country.

Is that a bug or a feature?  We can decide, but only if we are aware.

Anyhow, we are straying away from our strong bias to bee-related content, even if the topic is of great current interest and significance.
