Curious, but with most domesticated species, ferals are discouraged. Chile has had plans to eradicate feral dogs. In my county, feral cats are captured and neutered, and anyone who adopts a cat at the SPCA is required to sign a statement that they won't let the cat out of the house. Foxes and raccoons are assumed to be potential carriers of rabies. And yet people are keen on seeing a large population of wild or feral bees build up in a region where they aren't even native. What's wrong with this picture?
