Dear all,
In my reply to Karleen I wrote:

Caucasian/Kaukasian is an unnecessary word, used to identify specific racial characteristics, which do not exist anyway and come from an old tradition of feelings of superiority.
So, I would like to correct that I think it is not argued the white male is 'the standard' in research related to health.
I apologise for any pain my words might have brought.
