Amy,

I wonder if the supply drop this person experienced following the second
shot was similar to the way milk supply sometimes drops when mom is
actually sick (with flu, viral illness, etc.) and the body, under stress,
diverts some of its energy/resources away from lactation and toward
fighting the infection. (That's just my theory as to why supply goes down
in that situation.) I am hearing many folks who got the *second* shot
saying their immune response to it is robust--and that they are truly ill
with Covid-like symptoms for a few days after.

I am currently breastfeeding a three month-old and it just so happens that
I got my first Covid vaccine today. I can report back in a month and let
you know what happens with my second dose. :)
