Hello,
Does anyone have experience with any of the nipple shields that are shaped more like bottle nipples (like a hybrid between a contact nipple shield and a bottle nipple)? My biggest concerns are that they place baby even further away from the breast and result in less nipple stimulation (and possibly the thickness of the silicone). Especially for a mom who is already struggling with supply.
That being said, my professional experience is limited to the ultra-thin silicone contact-type nipple shields.
Thank you,
Elizabeth Still, RD, IBCLC
