Karleen, I, too, published on context in regards to induced lactation in a
1997 article, examining the difference in reporting of cases from First
World and Third World settings, and other issues. I discussed induced
lactation and relactation (unweaning). The issues I raised are still
relevant, especially when reading old literature for a literature review.

Earlier (1993), I published a case series on relactation in which some of
the mothers were definitely *not* motivated, even reluctant, the motivation
coming from the child. The citation (under a former surname) is:
Phillips V. Relactation in mothers of children over 12 months. Journal of
Tropical Pediatrics, 1993 (Feb); 39: 45-47.
