This might not contain the answer to your question, but then again, it
might.....  I listened to this excellent talk (an hour long) a few days
ago, and Pam Douglas definitely talked about negative pressure at one point
- I'm just not sure if she gave any numbers....

Apart from that, for anyone interested in tongue function and how it
relates to the need for frenulotomy, it's well worth listening to
