Hello Wise Lactation "Specialists" and others involved in promoting breastfeeding in hospitals and other health care institutions,
Our urban, diverse, public Baby Friendly designated hospital received as part of a local DOH grant a Mamava Breastfeeding Pod which we have placed right in the front of our Main building Lobby. However we have no security, housekeeping and pod usage policy and need to create one right away so that we can open it up to the public for usage. Do any of you have already have a policy for this or something like it that you would be willing to share? We would modify to fit with NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens. We are very excited and are preparing for both our 3rd year of Baby Friendly and the pod. Any assistance you can offer toward getting this POD officially in use will be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you.
