Ovasitol was the first product to combine myo-inostiol and d-chiro-inositol in the 40:1 ratio that seems optimal for PCOS. I have shared it in my lectures for the past few years as a potential alternative to metformin with insulin-resistant low milk supply. I have not been able to test this out with my very low income population, and have been anxious for feedback. It's hard to know how much difference it makes for your niece with a "before" but anything that helps with reproduction is likely to help optimize lactation potential as well. Regarding safety, it is a naturally occurring form of sugar, there is no reason to have concern.
