Thank you for the replies on my posting about Ketorolac.

I had told the mother that it was much safer than:
1. introducting formula
2. using EBM and bottle feeding

Some mothers are so frightened of any drugs that they don't want to
look at the benefits of pain relief so that they will be able to
breastfeed and not go into stress with expressing/pump & dump or
other things. I had provided information about CDC and
Lactmed. Sometimes it just takes someone else to provide the same information.

And when recovering from surgery, why make life harder. I'm all for
rest and having the baby stay with me for feeding whenever baby needs
or wants to feed. Let others bring me food, change nappies, etc.

Regards,
Ruth Berkowitz, IBCLC
