I'm reorganizing some files and found this one, Energy and macronutrient content of human milk during early lactation from mothers giving birth prematurely and at term, Anderson, GH, et al, American J Clin Nutr. I especially liked this quote "However, for a given volume of milk, the early milk of the infant's own mother is likely to be a moreappropriate source iof nutrients than pooled mature milk or formula based on mature milk composition." Now for the important part of this article - 1981!!!!! I did my thesis "From Paper to Practice" in 1994. We are still taking 20-30 years to put good info into practice. STS was first written about in 1986 ! Why does medicine get so set in the ways, so slow to adopt better practices??? OH my, can yo tell I'm getting buried in paper? Pat in SNJ
