Greetings,

Seeking some guidance, PTP: Baby born at 25.6 wks
(currently 39.5) has been fed fortified mother's milk, exclusively. Baby's
feedings are inconsistent, some very slow and occasionally requires an NG
feeding when she refuses the bottle. Mom started feeding baby at the
breast which baby enjoyed, but stopped, as per MD, when the pre and post
weights revealed almost no milk transfer. Last direct feed was 2/21

Baby now has oral thrush, diagnosed yesterday, 2/28, and is being treated..

Mom's nipples are sensitive to the touch which she has been attributing to
all of
the pumping, no redness, itching, etc.

The NICU staff is of the opinion that the mother is not the source of the
infection and the stored milk therefore would not be a source of
reinfection.
Mom is very concerned about reinfecting baby and is leaning in the
direction of treatment for herself and wondering which if any of her milk
might be a potential source of reinfection. That is the

Thanks in advance, please respond to me directly,
