I have kept both my IBCLC certification and my RN license active for many
years.
I am no longer working in a hospital setting, like I did for many years,
and I don't see myself going back to that setting as an IBCLC.
Both are due for renewal in the next few months and I am contemplating
changing my RN license to "Inactive".
What I am wondering is, for those of you who work in a pediatrician's
office, were you required to have an active RN license in addition to your
IBCLC?
I know many hospitals require both and I know I can work independently as
an IBCLC.
I am planning to resume work as an IBCLC, but, I've been out of the loop
for about two years and am trying to make good decisions as I get back into
things.

Thanks!
Jodie in Maryland
