Hannah,
Sounds like your client has a head start on inducing lactation.  Her breasts have already started to prepare for lactation.  Whether to do a birth control pill, progesterone only, or neither depends on the client's health and fertility history, her preferences, and the timing of baby's arrival.

When I develop a plan for inducing lactation for a client, each one is unique to their needs!
