Thank you Frank, Liz and Pamela for your replies.  I work on a maternity unit and I must say that I have seen a general increase in motivation among new mothers to initiate breastfeeding and/or pumping and bottle feeding since this crisis started.  I guess even if government leaders aren’t promoting breastfeeding, mothers understand the implications and will at least try.  It is so sad to me that it takes a crisis like this, with babies at greatest risk, to promote change.
