Hello Márta for sharing this experience; sorry for answering that late.
Please forgive me;
well amazingly, I had a discussion with a mom that I had helped, (she came
for her new baby); and i could not ask directly about the procedure on her
elder son; but she talked from her own so.... she remembered a local
anesthesia with 2 "cotton swabs" that were dipped in a "blue gelee.

All you shared with me is really truly interesting, with the experience and
knowledge and evidences (why no need for....) and i am grateful for this.
That will help me appease families - even most of them care and are afraid
about this topic; so far thanks to you i have elements to answer and
appease families.

Breast regards,
Françoise Coudray, IBCLC
