I have a question for the collective wisdom of the group. I recently came across a situation of a mother adding "organic" vanilla to her bottles of breastmilk to be fed to her 13 month old by a child care provider. I know that breastmilk has it's own sweet flavoring. Why would one add vanilla? Does anyone have information about this practice and potential concerns?
