HEADS UP IBCLCs! And SHUT the practice-guiding documents front door. IBLCE
just sent an email (6 Jan 2018), presumably to all certificants, seeking
public comment on proposed revisions to the IBLCE Scope of Practice and
IBLCE Clinical Competencies, based on the Jan 2015 Practice Analysis.

A very short window for comment is offered; the same email offers a link
for your 3500-character-limit comments, and they must be made by 21 Jan
2018 (that's 14 days from today). There does not appear yet to be any
information about this on the IBLCE website, so Get Ye to your e-mail
inboxes and look at this stuff.

You know I will be poring over these documents line-by-line, but don't wait
for me to share my analysis (as you know I will). Time is too short; the
impact too important. These are **your** rules for excellent professional
practice. Ask yourself if IBLCE has made wise suggested changes, and submit
your comments.
