Dear Lactnet Friends:

Leslie Cree describes a challenging case of mastitis. (Hi Leslie!)

Thoughts: an inflammatory response worth investigating with Jennifer Tow?

An emotional connection? I worked with a mother once who fed her baby on a
schedule, and her baby cried a lot the first 5 months because he needed the
breast when he needed it, not when his grandmother said he should be fed.
(Grandmas was a pediatric nurse in the 50s and knew "everything"). She made
way too much milk; I always wondered if it was her body responding to all
that crying.

Not oversupply?

Oversupply can be an uncommon side effect of depot provera.

Pituitary workoing well? Bra fits perfectly?

Let us know, Leslie.
