I assume that you are asking for information regarding lactation staffing
importance in the hospital setting. Hospitals often cut the lactation
department personnel during their efforts at cost containment. This is
especially true during the COVID pandemic when revenue-producing elective
procedures declined or disappeared. These cuts further stress the nursing
staff who may be stretched to their limits.
