I would add that when mothers read conflicting information from reputable sources such as LactMed, such as the conflicting information on ketorolac (manufacturer says no, other more knowledgeable sources counter this), the experience of cognitive dissonance is not a pleasant one.   Staff nurses and others outside our field who access LactMed may be very concerned when reading a manufacturer's statements of undue caution.  Truly the pharmaceutical industry needs to get up to speed.
